Florida sales tax (7%) applies only to the production equipment, never to DJ services.
Normally we match you with the right DJ for your crowd about two weeks before your event. With DJ of choice, you pick from our roster and that DJ is confirmed for your date as soon as you book. It is $300 an hour for any DJ on our roster, including Xio, our founder and lead DJ. On Saturdays, Xio is $350 an hour.
Yes, on every option except Venue DJ, which plays through your restaurant or lounge’s own sound system. DJ and DJ + MC are sized for up to 75 guests, production packages cover up to 150, and for 200 or more guests we add sound reinforcement so the whole room is covered.
When nobody has booked your date yet, production packages save $200 Monday to Thursday, $150 on Fridays and Sundays and $100 on Saturdays. Holidays and peak weeks are at standard rates. We confirm your date before we send your invoice.
Send your build and we check your date and email your invoice, usually within the hour during business hours. A 50% retainer fee reserves your date and the balance is due 14 days before the event. For events fewer than 14 days away, the full amount is due at booking. We take card, ACH bank transfer and Zelle.
Production packages include a certificate of insurance for your venue on request. DJ and DJ + MC on their own do not, so if your venue requires one, add any production package.
We cover all of South Florida and beyond. Travel is included across Miami-Dade and Broward. Pick your location above and any travel fee shows in your total: $250 for Palm Beach County, $297 for the Upper and Middle Keys or Naples, and $497 for Key West or Orlando. Anywhere else, we quote it before you book.
